Anton Krupicka is one crazy runner. Crazy good. He won the Leadville Trail 100 mile endurance run in 2006 and 2007, finishing over three hours ahead of his nearest competitor in 2007. That time was also the second fastest recorded time ever.
Anton has an unconventional perspective on training, and running in general. He prefers to leave all gadgets at home, such as heart rate monitors, watches, GPS trackers, and sometimes even shoes. He runs about 200 miles a week, most barefoot. His philosophy for running is centered on a belief that the activity is a chance to return to our roots and become one with nature.
